Yay! New models for the game are always welcome stick out tongue

I remember playing this for JK:A and it was really good. Basically this is a brand new gun model for Kotor2. The lack of any shaders is dissapointing, but i feel that shaders are an extra bonus. I know how inryi loves her shaders wink

Hopefully this will be remedied if the author releases more models. But you dont really need them because it still looks great stick out tongue

It says in the readme that

It's a god awful game, but the weapons in it are neat. Without SOE I never could have made this model. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the files in your override folder. This file should work for both KotOR1 and KotOR2, though I have only tested it on KotOR2. INCLUDED FILES: -back.tga -barrel.tga -barrel2.tga -bottom.tga -handle.tga -top.tga -g_w_blstrrfle078.uti -iw_blstrrfle_078.tga -w_blstrrfle_078.mdl -w_blstrrfle_078.mdx -This Read-me file UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the above named files from your override folder. DESCRIPTION: Originally part of a weapons pack I modelled for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, this gun makes the perfect addition to KotOR. Unfortunately it doesn't have any shaders, as I don't have proper alpha-channel software, but it still looks pretty neat in-game and has the feel about it that it never had in Jedi Academy. HOW TO SPAWN: Want to load up this weapon? First of all, make sure your cheats are enabled. I won't explain how to do that, so if you don't know how look it up on Google. Just make sure you're aware that the cheat strings are invisible ;) Press ~ (`) and type in, without the quotes, "giveitem g_w_blstrrfle078". This will put the Light Lightning Cannon in your inventory. BUGS: None that I've found. COMMENTS: This was really just a quick port. I'm still getting adjusted to the engine, so once I'm comfortable with the compilation process I'll start making weapons specifically for KotOR. Please do not modify this model or use it in any mod without first asking my permission. I prefer to know if my mods are going to be changed/used, so just drop me an e-mail at the address I've provided and let me know, and I'll give you permission. I don't have KoTOR 2 frown

I'll give it a 7/10 then a +3 because we haven't had a file in about 2 or 3 months. I.e. 10/10 Resistance is Futile!

Why are there stormtroopers?

It was a mod I was beta testing at the time. I just used my quicksave to test the gun.

Just as a note, there's a small error here. Some of you may have noticed it already.

In the read-me, it says "type in, without the quotes, "giveitem g_w_blstrrfle078"". This is incorrect. The actual string is "giveitem g_w_blstrrfl078". My apologies for the error - typos are so easy to miss wink

Nope, it really doesn't work well in KoTOR for some reason. Most of it's good, except some plane thing is sticking out of the gun. Maybe I messed up the placeable box I put it in on the Endar Spire...

Yep, as IfritZero mentioned it does not work in the original KotOR. I'm working on getting a KotOR version, but... don't hold your breath.
