90SK's SUPER Content Mod - File Description  


Description:
This mod of 90SK's certainly is a treat to download. In addition to including pretty much all the content from his Metastasis mod, it adds quite a bit of stuff on its own. Namely those are other skins for various other armors and robes, but what I liked most was the added content - there are several extra merchants (located on Nar Shaddaa and Onderon respectively) to buy gear from, as well as (yay) yet more people who want to kill your PC. The dialogue for them is written very well by fan standards, and better yet some is fully voiced (the rest re-uses alien VOs).

In addition, thanks to 90SK's role as a beta-tester for the TSLRP, this mod of his is fully compatible with it. What's not to like? Definitely worth a download if you ask me.

Also, this mod isn't installed in the manner most TSLPatcher ones (but yes, it does use the Patcher) usually are. For full specifics see the readme, but don't go and run the install.exe like you normally would.

Note: Please remember to give the author of the mod feedback, as the download count isn't particularly verbose. Written comments tend to be much more useful and encouraging.

DESCRIPTION: This is a massive content mod that revamps the armor and robe content in the game. It also adds new encounters, merchants, items, and general gaming experience. For a complete list of changes, see below.
HOW TO PLAY: The new features of this mod have been integrated into the game in such a way that they should all show up in a normal play-through. Just be sure to start a new game if you want to experience the full effect of the mod. I cannot guarantee compatibility with other mods.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: First, install these inside a folder in your override called “90SK”:

What that does is fix the collars of the robes, so my skins will work. It's very important that you put all the files (aka all the mdl's and tga's) inside the 90SK folder that you create in your override folder. DO NOT PUT THEM IN A SUBFOLDER INSDIE THE 90SK FOLDER. After you've installed those, make sure that if you have “appearance.2da” in any subfolder in override, you move it to the main override folder. Don't worry, your other mods will still work. Now, go back to my mod and run “Install.exe”. If you encounter a warning about appearance.2da already being in override, it only means the installer is working, so don't worry. After that, you're done!

So, just to run through what to do step by step:

1 Download two files above

2 Extract them and take the files out of the folders

3 Put the files inside a folder named 90SK inside your override folder in the SWKOTOR2 directory

4 Make sure that if you have appearance.2da in any subfolder in Override (i.e. In the TSLRP folder), you move it to the main Override directory.

5 Run “Install.exe” from this mod

6 You're done!

UNINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Delete the folder “90SK” from your Override folder.

BUGS:
-Female Versions of new heavy armors: I think they suck. Sorry.
-Spelling: I'm sure I've missed some errors
-Compatibility: there's bound to be some issues that I've missed. Adjust your version of the mod accordingly.
-Hunter in green armor: you better talk to him, because otherwise he'll stay there forever, which isn't right.

PERMISSIONS: If you'd like to use something in this mod in your own mod, I'd like to be contacted first, or at least given proper credit for my work.


Changes made by this mod:

- Icons: All icons for armor classes F, G, and H use the TSL format, WITH arms, like the new armor. The icons for classes C, D, and E remain in KotOR style,WITHOUT arms.

- Ludo Kressh's Tomb Artifacts
~ New Heavy Armor: Rusted Sith Armature w/. unique texture.
~ Ludo Kressh's Armband: Unique Icon

- Heavy Battle Armor has a new texture based off it's original from KotOR, so it isn't identical to the Mandalorian Heavy Armor.

- Echani Heavy Armor has a unique icon finally, instead of using the one from PMBH06. Also white and brown cloth scheme instead of blue (so it doesn't look exactly like Mandalorian armor, which doesn't make any sense since it's supposed to be Echani in design)

- Powered Battle Armor has a new texture based off it's original from KotOR, because Obsidian reused the Cinnegar armor texture way too many times.

- Mandalorian Heavy Armor now uses the PMBH06 texture, so the presence of a Cassus Fett type armor makes sense, to stay in keeping with KotOR (note: the original texture for this armor is not relocated by this mod).

- Verpine Zal Alloy Mesh now uses its original texture
from KotOR, instead of looking like Calo Nord's armor.

- Vogga's Hoard New Items:
~ Calo Nord's Armor, as "Deluxe Battle Armor",
with a description that explains why a unique armor
is showing up again.
~ Glitterstim Injector (because the original
absence of drugs in Vogga's hoard seemed odd)
~ Barab Ore Ingot (cool rare item that I'd never
heard of, so into the hoard it goes)

- Mandalorian Assault Armor now has a description that explains the armors appearance, and why we don't see any Mandalorians wearing it.

- M'uhk'gfa now has a unique texture based off the Verpine Zal Alloy armor.

- Felenar Armor: now Fenelar Armor, like it should be (look it up). Also, Description explains why it looks like Jergan Kalta's Power Suit from KotOR.

- Matrix Armor now has a unique texture.

- Masks With Different Models
~ Arkanian Blinders
~ Combat Sensor
~ Multi-spectral Target Assessor

- New Flight Suit: "Shielded Flight Suit". Replaces “Bindo's Band”, which has been relocated (so you won’t see doubles of a unique item)

- Armored Flight Suits
~ They have better, more detailed alpha channels
~ They're more spread around the game
~ Addition of previously unused brown texture
variation, as "Beast-Rider Armor"
~ Ubese varition has a new texture

- Echani Shield Suit now uses more appropriate texture,
previously Ulic Qel-Droma's armor.

- Zabrak Field Armor isn't so damn expensive anymore.


- Deneban Armor replaces Ulic Qel-Droma’s armor. It uses a modified version of the original texture used for Ulic’s armor in KotOR. It looks a little different because it isn’t the same armor, but I’ve set it up in the description where it explains the difference by pointing out that both armors were built on Deneba. Ulic visited Deneba during the Sith War, and he would have procured the armor and customized it there.

- Sith Battle Suit is now light armor, has improved stats, and has a new texture based off it’s original medium variant.

- New medium armor “Corsair Jumpsuit”, replacing the odious light powered armor.

- Arkanian Bond Armor finally makes an appearance in a KotOR game, replacing Exar Kun’s armor (which has been relocated. This way you won’t see doubles of a Unique armor). It has a new texture based off it’s original.

- Jal Shey Neophyte Armor: I’m actually not sure what I’ve changed here. I think it uses another texture, another default. I can’t remember.

- New Heavy Armor: “Eriadu Reinforced Armor”, w/. unique texture. Azkul is wearing it. Kill him to get it.

- Zherron now has unique armor that matches generic militia armor. Kill him to get it.

- Khoonda Militia Armor
~ Female version looks normal
~ Armor can be found on female merc’s corpse in Crystal cave


- New Icon for Nihilus Mask, replacing the god-awful original one.

- Mandalorian Combat Suit now has darker, less goofy texture.

- Reinforced Fiber Armor is now “Alderaanian Combat Suit”, and has improved alpha channels.

- New Encounter With Masked Hunter: You’ll first find the hunter on Telos, after your initial encounter with those thugs ruffing up that Sullustian. You can chat with the hunter briefly: he’ll explain that he has a flight to catch, and then he walks off. Make note of what he’s wearing. Later, when you’re on Dxun exploring the jungle, you’ll come across his corpse, which contains a new weapon: “Cortosis Rapier”, a new armor: “Deneban Heavy Armor”, with a new texture based off the Deneban armor mentioned previously, and a datapad explaining how the hunter died.

- New Encounter With Bounty Hunters on Onderon: When you first enter the bar on Onderon, notice the two armor clad individuals in nearby corner within the central room. One of them is drunk: he can’t be spoken to. The other will apologize for his friend’s behavior. They’ll remain there throughout your stay on Onderon. However, once the final meeting occurs and you’re fleeing, they make a surprise appearance in the Iziz hangar where you’ve landed. Revealing themselves as bounty hunters, they demand that you lay down your weapons and leave with them. When you refuse, they attack you. Once you defeat them, you get a new heavy armor: “Krath Heavy Armor” w/. unique texture, and some credits and weapons.


- New Merchant on Onderon: near Ponlar and his mob, there’ll be an armor clad merchant standing between two holding containers. If asked, he’ll explain that he has an agreement with the Onderonian military that allows him to sell weapons and armor unmolested. Notable items found in his inventory are:
~ Ubese Environmental Suit (flight suit)
~ Arca Jeth’s robe
~ Exar Kun’s Armor
~ Fenelar Armor
~ Onderon Repeating Carbine

- New Merchant on Nar Shaddaa: behind Tien Tubb’s shop, there is a small office that now contains a droid and several containers. When spoken to, the droid asks if you’d like to see his inventory. If asked, he’ll explain that he is a proxy for an off-world merchant. Notable items found in his inventory are:
~ Systech Heavy Armor (new heavy armor w/. unique texture)
~ Massassi Armor (previously replaced)
~ Mandalorian Combat Suit
~ Zabrak Tystel Mark III heavy blaster (the one from KotOR)
~ Bindo Band (previously replaced)
~ Droid Parabolic guides


- Party Clothing: Atton and Mira’s unique clothing items now have matching icons. Disciple and Handmaiden now have unique clothing items with matching icons as well (I’ve included an icon to match Stoffe’s handmaiden reskin as well). Mandalore’s Armor now has an icon, and will no longer show up as default Mandalorian heavy armor in the upgrade screen (instead there’ll just be nothing there…or at least, close to nothing).

- Visas can now wear Jedi robes. Her neck looks a little funky, but whatever. Better than no robes at all.

- Some text errors have been corrected.

- Atton and all the other party member can wear Revan armor. Only handy if you have a mod installed that uses the J armor slot (like me).

- Bao-Dur's head is a bit more pronounced, and his eyes are a different color.

- “Light Combat Armor” is now “Fiber Armor”, with slightly different texture.

- Male Version of Echani Heavy Armor now looks more like the female version

- Powered Battle Armor, Iotran Braceman Armor, and M'uhk'gfa now have gauntlets similar to the female versions.

- Systech Heavy Armor has more realistic looking alpha channel, and is now found solely on Geravick's person. Kill him to get it.

- New Portraits for all the characters

- Mandalore’s Armor is slightly different: more pronounced.

- The Das'kar Hunting Mask now has a new texture and icon.


- TSLRP Compatibility: It should work. Install this mod OVER the TSLRP: it should work then. If not, I'll release a patch for the mod.

No more out of place Star Forge banners. I've replaced the copious misused Star Forge Banners found in the Mandalorian camp, among other places, with flags bearing the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader emblem. It'll probably still be out of place in some areas, but at least it'll be an “out of place” that makes more sense. I’ve updated the loading screens to accommodate the new banners as well.

I really like this mod, but is there someway to keep the jedi masters with their current robes. I have nothing against 90sk's reskins, its just that the style of tunics doesn't look like something a jedi would wear.

to answer the various questions asked:

@1 - no, the TSLRP isn't needed to run the mod

@4 - use KotOR Tool to go into appearance.2da (the one included with the mod), scroll down to row 641, and go across until you see N_JediMemM and N_JediMemZ. Change those to PMBNM and PFBN, respectively. Repeat that process for row 648 and 670 (only instead of N_JediMemZ for the 2nd one, it'll be N_JediMemK and N_JediMemM.) Hope that helps!

@10 - delete all tga's the 90SK folder that have PO_ in them. those are the portraits.

I'M STUCK! i have a folder in my overdrive called 90SK and there is sv_master_robe skins , k2-robe-fix , and 90sksuper. Appearance is in the overdrive folder but i have no idea what the TSLpatchers is! a link or something could be help, i really think this mod is great but i just don't have the comp. smarts please help!

I absoulutley LOVE this entire mod id give it a 100/10 but the one thing that bothers me is the councils robes...i just dont like that style

@14 The TSLPatcher is included in the mod: that's what the "Install.exe" is. Once you've put the appropriate files in the 90SK folder, go back to where you extracted the mod to, and run "Install.exe". That'll install the mod.

yea but, the fixes aren't like vanilla folders they're the white sheets with the interent explorter symbol on them, how can i extract that? the 90SK looks like an adobe reader thing and the install.exe is a white sheet too

You need WinRAR (the newest version) to the files from the 7z archive. Once extracted, follow the instructions in the readme.

Question:

When I try and open the following file: ~SNIP~

Win RAR gives me an unexpected file end warning. I also notice that the 3 MB download is only 300K.

Is there something wrong with the file??

im having problems using this mod,when i try intalling and clicking the exe i keep getting"warning"cannot locate the ini file changes.ini(file is in the folder) with work instructions unable to load the instructions text!make sure the "tslpatchdara"folder containing info.rtf file is located in same folder as this application

which they all are.any help would be great looks like its a great addition od for my game!

hiho! first its a great mod so far and second ive got a problem with the New Encounter With Masked Hunter on telos. when i talk to him he doenst talk at all and ive got no options to answer. long story short theres no dialogue. i have to restart the game bc without answer option i cant end the "dialogue".
i guess this might be a problem of the language because im playing german version but ive got no clue how to solve this problem. any hint tip etc would be much appreciated!
oh btw it seems that the armors, weapons etc dont have a name but a description. i guess its really a language problem =O
will be thankful for any help to get this working =)

I like this mod, I think it's great. But the portraits I don't like. I followed your instructions and removed them from the override folder, but in-game I still see your portraits. How do I get the actual portraits back? It bugs the crap out of me that they don't change with alignment progression or items equipped (if only this wasn't my third time playing this, then I wouldn't miss this luxury).

The "PO_" TGA files are the portraits. Like Atton is "po_pAtton.tga". Make sure you remove them not only from the override folder, but the directory where the mod is installed. Sometimes your game will read files there too.

That makes sense, but I looked all over my KOTOR file, and I couldn't find them. What directory were you referring to?

I've looked further into my problem and I must ask this.
I haven't played kotor 2 for a long time- do portraits change with equipment and light/dark changes? I seem to remember it so. If that's true, then can someone tell me how I could restore that feature? I use portrait PO_H_SML_01, with appearance P_MAL_H_SML_01. I've uninstalled/reinstalled (twice), and I've deleted all mods completely and totally from my hard drive. Of course, all this info is useless if it turns out I was tripping acid and portraits do remain static (but I can swear I remember seeing a breather mask on my jedi's portrait once!).

No, your portraits don't change with equipment changes. They do change with alignment (DS only), and if you want the original portraits just delete the PO_... files from the 90SK folder in Override. Do what Shem said, and it should work fine.

Try downloading it again using a different browser, or keep trying it with different computers or that kind of variation.

I also have a notice: when using this mod, when you get to the Trayus Academy, delete a_robe_14 from the 90SK folder. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

The robes are found throughout the game, they'll show up naturally.

If you still want to cheat to get them, look at the UTI filenames in the 90SK folder. Those are giveitem codes, use KotOR Tool to figure out which ones you want by looking at the UTIs, and then use the giveitem cheat and the UTI filenames to get the robes.

...but, they DO show up in game naturally, so you don't really need to worry about that. smile

just to be clear I want a new encounter every 5 secs...or 2 mins thats ok. TSL is so boring sometimes and I don't feel like that the whole galaxy is trying to find jedi as...the galaxy has more than 5 or 6 grunts every planet. Especially in the beginning as killing droids is mega lame with no melee combat. If you could revamp the boring locations or at least make places more intresting that would be awesome!! (hint: put some type of melee fighters on perguas idc who they are)

Hmmm... I used this mod and the game froze when the Council session appeared. The exile came up wearing the modded robes, and the Masters all stood up and then it froze. How bizarre. Well, I'll have to experiment until it works.

I have done exactly as instructed using KotOR Tool to change the appearances of the three Masters back to their original Jedi Master robes. It worked flawlessly for Kavar and Zez-Kai Ell, but Vrook's robe texture is completely messed up now and I have no idea how to fix this.

hey guys, im basically new to modding this game and i have 2 say that this mod looks amazing!
i do have a small/large problem lol. i follow the readme instructions so i have dwnloaded the 2 other mods. then used the installer provided by 90SK and it installs fine (i think....i didnt overwrite anything) but when i come to play for example in narr shaddaa nothing has changed....the new merchant isnt there and i dnt have new armour or robe skins. any help would be greatly appreciated.

atm my override is like this:


override------> 90SK -------> the individual files from the 2 fixes ( the links above) and the files that 90Sk's mod installs.

once theyre installed a appearance.2da file appears in the override directory.

i knw this is a real long post but any help woulod be appreciated as i rli wnt 2 use this mod.

I also had my game crash every time I did anything with G0T0 using this mod. I tried editing anything I could think of in the 2da file, but nothing was seeming to work at all (even with default models and such it would crash, and I didnt know how to make it not reskin him). What I ended up doing though which fixed it, though not really, but enough to make the game playable with the patch (all I really cared... I never use G0T0 anyways) was to copy the entire line from Handmaiden (or disciple if you are playing as a male. I didnt want to have 2 identical people running around) and then change the line number back to 453 and the game just replaces G0T0 with Handmaidens model. It actually functions completely fine this way, s/he can even fight and such, s/he just has G0T0s voice. The cutscenes seemed to work fine too, though I ddnt get to any actual movies with g0t0 to try them out. I'm sure they would just use him though since I believe they are just movies and dont use character models. I had several cutscenes trigger (going in and out of ebon hawk) and it had no issues using handmaiden in place of him. Just wanted to add this in case anyone else is having this issue.

Problem:
My laptop is able to run TSL rather and seemed to run this mod perfectly. However, when I first arrived at Nar Shaddaa and the cut scene with all of the bounty hunters meeting on Goto's yacht started playing, my game crashed. After much troubleshooting, I pinpointed my problem to a bug with g0t0. Every cut scene with g0t0 crashes my game. Adding him to my party crashes my game.

Solution:
Deleting the P_Gt.txi file inside of the 90SK mod folder allowed me to add g0t0 to my party without my game crashing and still have his new textures work. I haven't been able to test the cut scenes yet but I will post back if that still does not work. Hope this helps.

To change the robes back,
"use KotOR Tool to go into appearance.2da (the one included with the mod), scroll down to row 641, and go across until you see N_JediMemM and N_JediMemZ. Change those to PMBNM and PFBN, respectively. Repeat that process for row 648 and 670 (only instead of N_JediMemZ for the 2nd one, it'll be N_JediMemK and N_JediMemM.) Hope that helps! "

I need advice..because when I want to enter the private chamber with mira in Jekk'Jekk Tarr (as it is in story line of course) so there are two problems.First, past the enter Jak'kJakk Tarr, Mira haven't environmet suit a she can't open the door to the Private chamber----->they are still lock....Second problem is when Mira have the enviroment suit and I click to the door to chamber, she can't open it, because she start to walk betwen the doors and bar...It could be something around compatibity with another mods. I heve this mods: starport_visa_mod,exchange_cheaters,Telos Polar Plateau Sidequest,Dark Apprentice: Holowan Consortium,HK Factory Localized,Coruscant - Jedi Temple.And of course some item mods, but i think they aren't important. i have this mod and have played it near to the end, the problem is durring game play there would be instances where mandalorians would be in places they shouldnt be, such as on the surface of telos, and they wouldnt attack me like the rest of the mercs, further more on the planet duxn, specifically the battle circle, i would not be able to finish that sidequest because i would end up killing my first opponet, and if i leave the circle the game says you quit and or cheated. finally when you return to defend the telos station from the sith, and board their commanding vessel, there is soposed to be a group of mandalorians that go in first and attack some sith troppers, that doesnt happen... also you end up on that level with no party, your soposed to have mandalor and vais marr in your party, with out these 2 you cant advance in the story from that point. overall i like the changes to armor and all of that but something happend along the line that could possibly ruin the entire game, other than these werid events im only 70% sure that it is this mod that is causing the brick wall im running into, i plan to delete the mods files and start the game again hopfully it will either work or it will do the same thing, ill come back with an update on what happend

i deleted anything having to do with mandalorian armor and npc characters, and the level with darth darth nullius, the part where you have to plant charges and such, finally loads right, so im guessing whatever went wrong had to do with the mandalorian codes for this mod, in an update to this mod as far as patches go id look into that, tho im not sure if im the only one having this problem or not, has anyone else ran into this issue?

So I have not seen this mentioned before so here goes.

There are multiple Armours that when are put in inventory through KSE turn out to be the original game Items, A few examples of this are your Koonda armour and Eriadu Reinforced armour. The Cortosis Rapier also has this problem of reveting to the vibro double blade.

So I was just wondering If this was due to the KSE or the mod itself. Cuase I've cleared my Override and left just this mod to see but I got the same results.

Most may not care, but just so you are aware, this mod appears to replace the Dancer's Outfit with a 'robe' (the time I saw it was such a bright gaudy red I wondered if it was supposed to be for WH 40k!)

I didn't like the character portraits and the new robe skins didn't work somehow and now all my robes are a mess. I tried deleting 90SK from my override folder but the mod still is there. Can you find a way to uninstall this?

Another thing is, just deleting a folder doesn't uninstall it. You delete that folder and it will still be there.

Ok so long story short my latest three laptops do not run KotOR playably, so my memory on how all this ***** works is vague.

First: Language version incompatibilities are hugely regrettable on my part and potentially complicated to fix, because that information is pretty deep in the games programming and my mod is not that deep in its current build. Regarding that and other mysterious errors: An mod update is going to be tricky since TSL is somewhat outdated and I have an extremely difficult time getting it to work on my current systems (I HAVE by some miracle but its miserable to play, this windows backwards compatibility thing is a joke).

I can address some issues but forgive me if I'm not as helpful as I used to be...

#77) Related to my expansion of the mandalorian armors appearing in the game on mandalorian NPCs. It's in appearance.2da, if its causing issues its likely related to installation once again. One of the riskier additions from the last build,
and apparently it isn't as stable as I thought.

#79) KSE likely uses the original templates for some of the items I updated, I may have used the original codes for items that are treated differently by the game engine because they are generic.

#80) See #85 and #86

#81) I'm pretty sure

#85) I replaced the dancers outfit with the robes. TSL does not allow additional slots for armor types because that information is hard coded into the game and that stuff isn't possible to modify. Since any slot needs a single model designation for multiple-skinned versions of the armor, I chose to change the dancers outfit since it's the least flexible (no pun intended) of the armor slots.

#86) Without appearance.2da cooperation the dancers outfit on male chars crashes the game, yes. I'm not sure how to fix this because the nature of the appearance.2da issues comes from installation which may relate to the game itself being updated for newer (steam) systems of operation.

#87) Unknown, I beta tested a midway version of that mod and I did not remain a beta tester throughout. Likely no, if they're installation system overrides my somewhat unconventional one.

#88) Honestly not sure, its worked in the past and the file here hasn't changed, so either the games platform or the installation device (TSLpatcher) are being updated beyond the capabilities of the way I rigged the installation for this mod. It does not use the standard procedure for TSLpatcher, but a modified one of my design to allow for the mod to be more easily installed.

#90) More appearance.2da issues related to the shaders I edited in that file. Again related to installation.

OK I installed several mods for my recent play-thru. I had alot of crashes incluing some game breakers. (Cherry install of the game too)

I solved these by removing any custom stuff from my current hand held stuff like lightsabers from USM, I was also wearing Exar Cun's robe's & I forget if that is from a robe mod saving then renaming Override folder POveride, restarting, getting past the crash, saving & closing the game & renaming POverride back to Override. then re arming. Also got my party naked.

I realize it's a little late in the game to ask for a fix, but there you have it... my rather angry fix. . I'm very happy with the overall benefits & can't pinpoint the reason for the crashes other than "Mods" in general. Just like to say I play RPG's for the RP factor & keeping that DS was easy dealing with the myriad of crashes I had.

Just in case anyone is still active, my specs are:
Win XP64
Geforce 430
Amd quad phenom 9750
4 gb DDR2 Ram

That shouldn't have anything to do with it however. I tried making only 1 processor run it. Same issues & same fix. Renaming Override fixed every time. I DID try at least 3 times first though, sometimes I got past a crash or 2

I got Invisible Dark Jedi on Malachor They crashed me as soon as I gave them damage. I solved that by stealthing through most of Treyus. I woulda liked to waste em, but from an RP role, they're MY students now

oh, as an aside, if you have you're ppl wearling modded robes & rename Override & restart, they look like the Pilsbury doughboy. ,,, quite funny & Bao Dur is just an energy ball.

Oh I think you need the party underwear mod for that. it changes the 2da & makes it look in Override

#98) Her mothers robes, I may have modified them along with the other master robes. In the 90sk folder there's probably a TGA file overriding its default skin. Removing it should restore the original. If you're referring to her default clothes, I don't recall editing them but there are two versions of the icon I did for that, one to go with Stoffe's lovely reskin. They may potentially get mixed up.

BTW I reference TGA files, but they're not the most common image format and not all programs can open them readily

#99) I need to get back to you on that one because those tunics are integrated into the game's random loot system and there are certainly specific giveitem codes for each but I do not know them offhand and I cannot currently say which one is what. If you're able to access TGA files, and you can find the gold tunic's skin, look at its TGA file number and then see if you can find a UTI file (the item's actual file) with numbers that match. That UTI file's name should be the code you can use to get the item via whatever means seems best HOWEVER it should also be possible to come across naturally in the game, though that's not guaranteed.

The tunics you gave the jedi masters, Vrook, Zez and Kavar....I personally think they're pretty ugly and would prefer to let them have the original jedi master robes, how can I do this without removing the mod itself? Also the new look for the jedi knight robes, while I really like it without that baggy robe, there is some clipping in the hands when holding weapons and such.

Those two things aside I love the mod, the new armors, robes, and some of the tunics look pretty damn cool.

Ok figured out how to change the masters robes back to the way they were thanks to comment #71. But the robes that replaced the jedi knight robe and some of the others that were made to look more like tunics and such still have that clipping issue on the hands when holding weapons.

I downloaded this mod 2 months ago and forgot to review it. Well, the modded robes look amazing. I can't even describe them. They're just... beautiful. The Onderon bounty hunter encounter is good, along with the Iridonian merchant. He blends right in with the rest of the game. And the voice acting isn't bad either. I give this mod 20/10.

#105) Can you substantiate that for all Sith Apprentices on Malachor? It may have something to do with their robe items equipped in their .utc file equipment slots. That also pertains to Geravick. Are they entirely invisible?

Also, note that there's an invisible Sith apprentice enemy on Malachor (as a glitch) within this packaged version of the mod, and that its addressed in an earlier post by me regarding trouble-shooting for errors. Be sure to check those and following posts as your error question may have already been addressed and solved.

I downloaded this file and put it into my override file and when i run it, it says and error occurred and that it can't find my dialogue.tlk file. I have the appearance.2da in the main override folder, i do have the Trayus Academy mod and have deleted the robe14 file, but it still doesn't download. It also says invalid game folder specified, and won't let me specify it like other installers do. Says something like (Gen-7) too. So yeah.

107) that seems odd, I don't fully understand why it would do that but I think it's not related to the mod I don't think. It may be a combination of other mods with this one, or potentially something to do with the version of Windows or what operating system you have on your computer. Are you using a laptop? Give me some more details and I can try and help you out.

The first two files we're told to install before this, when I extract sv_masterrobeskins or whatever it's called, it tells me it's ran into an issue because the file is corrupt, could you possibly reupload those files somewhere? Unless you know of a solution?

I'm having an issue with Trayus Academy, it happened the last time I had this mod installed some time last year, there are 2 Sith apprentices in a small hallways in the Trayus Crescent area, the second room you come to, and everytime I try and attack them I freeze up. I have 2 mods installed, this and some moviestyle LS-DS transitions, I just assume it's this mod?

Sometimes before the crash, I'll be able to see their names when the game auto-pauses and they're green as opposed to red, not sure if that has anything to do with it, but any clues? If anyone even checks here anymore, I hope you get notifications or something...

The issue you are describing is the primary issue related to this mod. I am unsure how to correct it as it is related to an inventory / NPC / appearance.2da issue. My guess would be that it stems from the .utc (character/NPC file) associated with the NPCs you're noticing. My advice is to delete files associated with those NPCs until they are back to normal in the game, and/or check previous posts for mentionings of similar issues related to the one you're describing since I'm pretty sure that it's been solved in the past.

Hit me back with more information if you can't fix it still, I'm sure there are troubleshooting methods left to try.

I've tried deleting some "robe14" or something you suggested earlier, and it hasn't seemed to change anything.

Also, an elaboration on my problem; there are two sith I can see and one which is invisible, and not that kind of stealth generator invisible, I mean it has no model whatsoever, I can avoid it for only so long but eventually it catches me and whenever any form of combat is initiated by me or it, that's when the game crashes.

It happens on both the left and right corridors from the main Trayus Academy entrance.

Yep, that's the glitch in its full form. You'd have to remove a_robe_14.uti from the override/90SK folder, as it's referenced in the UTC files of the weird invisible model npc's you're encountering in the Trayus academy. You may want to save your game in a slot near to wear they appear / spawn / whatever before they engage you in combat, because this glitch is somewhat unexplored on my end.

I have yet to make any progress with my own runthrough of this mod with the TSLRCM installed also, because my old clunky desktop has decided to stop working and I need to figure out how to fix it before I can do anything more on fixing potential glitches with the mod, despite the priority of course stick out tongue

Explore the files I'm referring to. UTI are item template files, and UTC are the character template files. UTI files are referenced in the UTC files under the character's inventory tab. What I remember about the invisible NPC Trayus academy glitch is that there's an appearance.2da related glitch that has to do with the a_robe_14. UTI file and what it is exactly, I think it's a master robe but it's equipped into some glitched slot or something... can't really remember the deets but it's worth checking out with KotOR Tool if you wanna do it yourself -- it's a fairly easy to use program (at least for file viewing purposes) and it'll feel great if you fix the glitch on your own.

Caution: be mindful of appearance.2da, probs don't wanna muck around with it because it's a vital file for the game to work and it's used by many mods, including mine, as explained in previous posts and in the installation instructions for the mod.

Open a_robe_14 with KotOR Tool, UTI editor.

This uti file is the root of the problem you and I are dealing with.
It's a bit like surgery. I don't like it either, but I've had more experience with trial and error so I feel more comfortable with the program and modding tools generally.

From there, you need to change the type of item to something default. There's a dropdown menu, you can change the item's base to something like a sith soldier, or really whatever you want.

Save a game near or outside of Trayus Academy so you can test your fixes. Remember where you see the invisible sith spawn, and reload the savegames after messing around with a_robe_14.uti (replace the original one from the mod).




I am very interested in hearing if you are able to fix this issue. Keep me posted on what you find.

Does anyone know how to modify the appearance.ini so that Visas will still wear her orinial robe instead of the jedi robes?

I love all the changes from this mod, except for this part. The original robe just fits her better in my opinion.

Excuse me man, i need urgent help, dont know if you are still here but help me with this, i downloaded this one, all good, but there are 2 pieces of clothes, that if you put them on you characters, they dissapear, but if you try to talk to them by clicking, the game crashes, i do not use these clothes, but the problem is the next one, in the jedi enclave when i am about to exit, Gerevick with other bullys comes to attack you, but the problem is that he is using that clothe, and if i touch him the game just crashes, i tryed with force powers, 1 hit kill, but at the moment something touches him, game crashes, will you help me please?

For the life of me, I just can't install this mod whatever I do. The reason is that I bought KOTOR 2 off Steam, thus the game is located in the Steam system instead of on my hard drive. The mod installer can't find the location of the game so it won't install the mod. How would I bypass this?

If there are any invisible crash causing items that you come across in this mod, please post the name of the item and I will post on how to remove the glitch. This mod is old, there are newer versions of this content available from LucasForums on my profile 90 SK. I can advise people on how to correct glitched content but I will not be releasing future versions of this particular mod.
