M1A1 Thompson (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This is a great model from Inyri Forge, but I am sad to say that there are no special sounds for it. This is still great though.

When I used the ‘giveitem’ cheat to get it in my inventory I equipped the weapon (you need heavy weapons to use it) and started firing at everything I could find. The first thing I noticed was the muzzle flash which was a nice touch, the second thing was that the weapon is an instant kill. While this is realistic, I thought it made the game unbalanced, and too easy.

The model of the weapon was great, and combined with the textures it fitted in (better than I expected) with the rest of the weapons in the game. I seriously can’t find anything wrong with the model or it’s textures.

In my overall opinion I suggest a download. The model is practically perfect. The textures are practically perfect, and the way the weapon acts in game is god, if slightly unbalanced.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the files in your override folder. This file is for *KotOR1 only*! I can not guarantee whether or not it will work in KotOR2 as I have not tested it in KotOR2 - feel free to do so yourself.

UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the above named files from your override folder.

DESCRIPTION: A model of an M1A1 Thompson machine gun.

HOW TO SPAWN: Press ~ (`) and type in, without the quotes, "giveitem thompson". This will put the M1A1 Thompson machine gun in your inventory.

**For those wondering about KotOR2 gun versions!**

I am fulling planning on making them, however I'd like to make a couple more guns, then throw them all together in a pack. So sit tight and I'll have them on KotORFiles eventually ;)

BUGS: None that I've found.
