Black Vulkar Sound Fix - File Description  


Description:
Salk makes his modding debut on KotORFiles with a VO fix for KotOR. In the scene in which we are first introduced to Canderous, involving two Black Vulkar thugs, Salk noticed that both thugs had the wrong Huttese speech for two lines, and so he has fixed these. One of the lines was too long and wasn't in the appropriate tone of voice, and the other was too short. The mod does not use the TSLPatcher, and the author does warn that any other mods which modify this particular dialogue file will not be compatible. The mod is simple, but well-put-together nevertheless. It is difficult to see how the author could improve it, although perhaps having the changes made by the TSLPatcher might improve compatibility. Nevertheless, if you noticed the discrepancy in this dialogue, or just would like a more fixed game, this is the mod for you! smile

Black Vulkar Sound Fix by Salk

Description:
One of the Black Vulkar's assigned a wrong Twi'lek voice during a cutscene in Lower Taris (when the party meets Canderous for the first time). Two lines have been corrected to rectify this problem:

"Yeah, let's see the big crime lord come and get his money from the Black Vulkars!" n_gmtwilek_comm1 -> n_gtmtwlek_angs

"Yeah, we were just goofin' around here. We don't want no trouble with a Mandalorian. Here's Davik's cut." n_gmtwilek_scrm -> n_gtmtwlek_scrl

Installation:
Just extract the file into your Override folder.

Bugs:
This mod is not compatible with any other modification that overwrites the same file.

Permission:
This modification can be used freely, provided proper credit is given.

Posts: 7 		I always welcome any kind of fixes for KotOR, so keep it up, and this goes to any site admin, but why is this listed under KotOR II TSL category? shouldn't be under KotOR? just letting you know. Thanks.
