Call of Aid (1.5) - File Description

Description:
Sekan returns with another update to his Call of Aid mod. The mod has gained extreme popularity in very little time, due to its rather attractive premise: the armband lets you spawn various NPCs to help out your player in a fight (and you'll definitely wind up in more than a few). This is an update for the KotOR I version; the KotOR II version will be along shortly.

In case some of you aren't familiar with the mod, I'll explain the basics. Upon leaving Dantooine, you are approached by a mysterious Twi'lek who offers you a device called the Call of Aid. (Or, if you don't have a savegame before Dantooine, or don't want to replay it, you can add the item to your inventory with the cheat console or the savegame editor.) The device sends out a message, summoning all friendly troops in the area. Which type of NPCs you get depends on your alignment--if you are light-sided, you get Republic soldiers and Jedi; if you are dark-sided, Sith soldiers and Dark Jedi will come to your aid; and if you are neutral, you will receive help from the Mandalorians.

With this newest update, you will now have the ability to choose which NPCs you spawn; for example, if you are light-sided, you can choose from a list of Republic soldiers, Republic officers, and Jedi Guardians, Sentinels, and Consulars. I'm sure this will be yet another well-received addition to the mod. The mod does use the TSL Patcher to ensure compatibility with other mods, so no worries there. Enjoy! smile

DESCRIPTION: This is a mod that spawns republic soldiers, officers, jedi guardians, sentinels and consulars if you’re lightside. If you are darkside you’ll get Sith soldiers, heavy trooper, sith apprentice and sith master. If you’re netural you get mandalorian, mandalorain elites and mandalorian commanders. You can get it by write in the console
'giveitem call_of_aid' or you can get it in the game if you got a save before you get the quest for the starforge.
Talk to the Twilek that will be just outside the ebon hawk.

Call of Aid:

This armband is fitted with a communications device.
When activated, it sends an encoded message to nearby ally units who will respond and come to your aid.

Due to a high potential for abuse, only the highest ranking Republic Officers and and the Jedi are permitted to use them.

Change in 1.5: Now you can choose which npc you want to spawn
Fixed grammar error

Changes in 1.4: Added stop and follow action
Added so you can tell soldiers to change from meele to ranged and ranged to melee

Changes in 1.3: Fixed many error with this mod like mod conflicts with other, armbands not showing in game.
Added so you’ll get mandalorains if you’re neutral

Changes in 1.2: I have added so you’ll get sith if you’re darkside.
Changed so Jedi and Sith uses the force more often.
Changed so both jedi and soldiers are little stronger more than before.
Changed mod name.

Changes in 1.1: I have made jedis and soldiers stronger so now they are of more use.


INSTALLATION

Just double click on the TSLPatcher and chose the kotor dictory.

UNINSTALLATION

Just remove the files that was placed in the override folder.
