Description:

You know, just when you think you know a game, something like this happens. I’ve modded the Knights of the Old Republic games for well over four years now, and I’m telling you that you learn something new every day and this new thing I’m learned this time is from this game I know so well, but can learn a trick or two as I just found out.

SithSpecter shows me once again that there is more to this game than I realized by making an interesting discovery. If you go back to the game, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, there was Chadra you run into on Nar Shaddaa. Well, this model was an unused model by BioWare that was cut out of the first Knights of the Old Republic game and the author not only found the lost model, he restored it for you to use if you so desire.

Now, keep in mind that this model has been restored mostly for modder’s sakes as they can make new mods using that model like adding new content or something like that. However, the author also took into consideration that some people may need something new to have fun with do so he created a disguise item for you to wear to play as the Chadra model. Details are located in the readme file. wink

Since it took this long to discover this model in the game, does it make you wonder if there are still things that have yet been discovered for the Knights of the Old Republic games? Only time will tell. In the meantime, enjoy the mod! big grin

Where has this Screenie been taken? Looks like Bespin but Kotor definitely doesn't have any Bespin-like Levels ..

@4 It was originally supposed to be the city of Dreshdae on Korriban but unfortunately Bioware decided to cut it from the game. Team Hutt is trying to restore it and turn it into the planet Sleheyron which was also originally supposed to be in the game. Whoops, looks like Shem beat me to the punch and for some reason the link doesn't work. Just look up Dreshdae on Wookieepedia and there should be a pic of the city form Shadows and Light. wink

I have confirmation from David Gaider, one of KotOR's writers, that Sleheyron was the planet in all the 'Dreshdae' pictures. There are similarities between the architecture styles, but the textures are far different, and all the textures are labeled with the prefix LSL, which tends to suggest Sleheyron.

Ok, so in other words the Module you're using for the Sleheyron Restoration was originally intended to be on Korriban but then Bioware changed it to Sleheyron? I may have misunderstood you could you clarify it for me one more time for me?

Oh nvm, I get what you're saying now. There are. I've discovered quite a few (including the Chadra-Fan) during the course of my K1EP development. Others may or may not discover them before my mod's released. wink

I can't wait to see how the Slehyron mod comes out. Anyway this mod is interesting to say the least.
