This is the 700th mod released on this site! Rock

Darth Maul is a very popular Sith Lord in the Star Wars Saga. He was a popular character period. The tattoos, horns, and his double-bladed lightsaber made him a very unique character that stood out in all the Star Wars movies.

Darth Maul also wore a unique Sith robe that was never duplicated in any of the Star Wars movies. So if you had the chance to wear such a robe, would you? TwistedMethodDan makes an update to the Darth Maul robe, who’s base was originally made by Draka Goth. Judging by the history of both versions of this robe that have been released, it’s been popular.

The big change about this 1.1 update is that this robe has an avatar. It shows a picture of Darth Maul when he’s about to go to battle against Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. This should give you more of a Darth Maul feeling when putting on the robe. It is restricted to the dark side of the Force, but you do get +4 to you defense and +2 to your strength and other bonuses mentioned in the readme. Enjoy the update! big grin

DESCRIPTION: Hello, I downloaded the darth maul's robe mod which is already present on this site and found out all it did was replace the look of the gray jedi robe, nothing else was changed ( name, stats etc ) . not that that's negative, the author did an escellent job of making the robe look just like Darth Maul's . So ... since that mod pointed out permission of use was not necessary, I thought I'd make an improved version of the mod. I used the same texture file ( which i will not pretend was my own work, it is the texture for darth maul's robe provided by Draka Goth in their mod ) and used it to create a new version of darth maul's robe . here is a list of improvements I have made : 1) This no longer replaces the gray jedi robe ( or any other robe for that matter ) , it is a new item in the game and so you can now have both robes in the game . 2) I've changed it so in the equip screen, it's called darth Maul's robe and not gray jedi robe. 3) I changed the boring stats of the gray jedi robe and made darth maul's robe reflect his feirce warrior image, whilst not going over the top ; defense bonus +4 , strength +2, regenerate force points +2 , dark side character only , and bonus feats for lightsaber focus and specialization.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Extract from the zip and place the files in the Override folder. If you do not have one, you will need to make one

COMMENTS: Inspiration : Draka Goth's darth maul robe mod , and the fact permission wasn't needed to use the texture file allowed me to make this mod , thanks !

PERMISSIONS: YOU CAN : use this mod, give it to friends etc. , send it to other sites *providing you stay honest and point out that this is my mod and that I made it ( except the texture file for the robe, made by Draka goth, which must also be pointed out ) * YOU CAN'T UNLESS YOU HAVE PERMISSION : modify this mod , or use parts for your own mods YOU CAN'T WHATSEVER : send it to other sites passing the work off as your own ....
