Anyone who has played Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords knows that, for all of the build-up that goes on throughout the game, the fight with Darth Nihilus is incredibly disappointing. Not only do you outnumber him three-to-one, but his stats aren't much to look at, either; a lone Exile could probably grind Nihilus to paste without much effort.
Darth_Shan brings us an edit to Nihilus, designed to make him more difficult without dramatically overdoing it.
His Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, and Wisdom have all been given a boost, while Intelligence and Charisma have been left alone. Overall, this should make his attacks a bit more effective, while simultaneously weakening your own. Strength was given the most noticeable boost, so if you notice anything, it'll be harder-hitting lightsaber attacks. Darth Nihilus also has a greater reserve of vitality points, which now regenerate throughout the battle. Nihilus will also be more effective with the force. In addition to the Wisdom boost mentioned above, Nihilus receives a boost to his Will Saves, as well as two new force powers: Slow and Stasis Field.
One thing I'd like to mention is that the author made this mod by way of editing Nihilus' UTC file. Generally, with The Sith Lords, this is a practice best left avoided, since Obsidian's reuse of many UTC files throughout the game might cause multiple files to be overwritten. I can't confirm whether this mod creates such a problem, but Darth_Shan did not encounter any problems during the making of this mod, so hopefully that is a good sign. My suggestion for a future version of this mod would be to script the changes in instead, so that we all know our UTC files are safe.
The mod also includes a save game, presumably so you can test if the changes are right for you, if you don't want to have to play through the game first.
Overall you should find this mod to be useful in toughening up the fight with Nihilus, though it doesn't go overboard, so it shouldn't drive you mad, either.
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

GAME: Knights of the old republic 2: The Sith Lords
Has anybody felt that Darth Nihilus didn't turn out to be what was expected? He wasn't really a
difficult opponent, but he was made out to be so powerful. If you feel the same way, then this mod is for you.
How I did it? Well, here is your answer:
Darth Nihilus default stats.
Darth Nihilus IMPROVED stats
Darth Nihilus also regenerates his life during combat.
I also have given him 2 new Force powers(Slow, Stasis field)
increased his health and given a 17+ bonus to his will
Simply copy these files into the Override folder.
if you dont have an Override folder create one in:
Fore those who don't wan't to wait till they get the the Ravager i included a savegame before the fight

|i think it's a very good idea but couldnt you just put the dificulty on hard? And why exactly do we want him to be hard? |

|If you change the difficulty to Hard, it only change the damage of every NPC. To answer your question, we want him hard because people might find him too easy like I did. I would much rather have a challenge than a 1-5 hit kill. Especially if you played the game multiple times. |

|im currently doing a mod with my friend godric. that will be making all the bosses., jedi masters/sith boses strength beyond 80 and more, you better wait for the rest its gonna be for proper gamers for kotor 2 |

I checked all module files in wich Darth Nihilus appears, all the UTC files have a special code. I couldn't find a copy of this file anywhere.

|This is a good mod and a great idea, however, be forewarned, it is not compatible with TSLRCM 1.7 or any other that changes the Nihilus/Visas intro scene. |
What happens is that TSLRCM restored that cutscene to play in the in-game engine as opposed to a cutscene from the movies folder as the game does normally. The .utc file conflicts with the TSLRCM version of the scene; Nihilus is facing the wrong way the whole time, the animation for him choking Visas is not shown, and after his final "line" (or what passes for a line in Nihilus terms), the game crashes.
If you use this mod with TSLRCM (and honestly who can play this game anymore without it?), do not install it until AFTER the Nihlus/Visas cutscene on the Ravager is triggered (when you get enough LS/DS points). After this everything should be kosher and you can install the mod, which is only one .utc.
Figured everyone should know.
