Description:
Some of you might remember the double dual-wielding weapons mod from pcgamemods a while back, and have downloaded it. Unfortunately with the site gone now, does that mean the mod is? Not any longer!
Gavroche makes his FileFront debut with the popular mod he released what seems like years ago for KotOR. As you can probably guess from the title, it allows dual weapons to be wielded in pairs. (For example, you can use two double-bladed lightsabers or two rifles at once)
The penalties to attack still apply, but the extra damage you'll be able to dish out makes it more than worth it! If you want to have any easier playthrough, lost the mod, or just like the look of seeing your PC use two double weapons, you'll be sure to have fun with this!
In addition, the mod works for both KotOR and TSL (files for each game are included in the mod), so no worries if you wanted both of your characters to dual-wield double weapons (how many times have I typed those words now?  ) Enjoy!
Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

This mod allows you to wield two double handed weapons, such as Quarter Staffs,
double Vibro-Blades, double bladed Lightsabers, Force Pikes, Wookiee Warblades or
Gaffi Sticks, but also Blaster Rifles, Heavy Rifles, etc, etc...

This mod has the files either for KotOR and tSL. Just copy the baseitems.2da in the right
folder and paste it in your Override (in your SWKotOR folder). When you'll have enough fun
with the mod, just delete the baseitems.2da.

The bad thing with this mod is that if you (or a NPC) are wielding only one double-handed
weapon, you will use it with the same moves as with a single-handed (see screenies if
what I say is not clear to you).
So it's probably better to use it only when you want to equip two weapons.

Im not really sure wad ure talking about but after i install this mod, i realize that yes the attack penalty such as offhand penalty still apply but wad i hope is that the damage output it gives.
Example if i use doubebladedsaber on only 1 hand slot , it just attack once like normal singlebladedsaber would. What im trying to say is, if im weilding 2 doublebladedsaber is there possibility to make it 4 times attack instead just 2 attack like weilding 2-singlebladedsaber each hands?
If it isnt, then ill just stick to normal weilding then  |

Posts: 15 | I couldn't find a way to get four attacks (too bad "--), but when you're wielding a double-bladed saber (without the mod), you get two attacks stronger than single-bladed ones.
But people prefer two single-bladed rather than one double-bladed because this damage penalty is easily reduced when you use four saber cyrstals (plus six other upgrades in tSL). Now that you can equip two double-bladed, you will have the extra-damage of the double AND the ability to put more cystals.

Maybe it will be more evident with numbers.
One single-bladed in KotOR does 2-16 damages. A double-bladed does 2-20 twice (= 2*[2-20] ). So what's the point of using two single-bladed (= 2*[2-16] ) ? The crystals. With four crystals slots (two per saber), you easily get 4-24 damages twice (random number). With this mod, when you use two double-bladed, you get 4-28 twice too with the crystals, for the SAME attack penalty.
Same thing with blaster rifles and double-bladed melee weapons. |

The answer to you questions are in the review and the readme. The screenshots are a giveaway too since it shows both games. |

Ihave the HK factory recostructed mod, and i think HK is really gonna live up the being the best assassin droid in the galaxy for once.
