Hi Res Muzzle Flash - File Description  


Description:
As I was looking through the textures for KOTOR 2, I discovered that the muzzle flash texture is astoundingly low resolution. Naturally, I decided to make a better one.
If I remember correctly, mine is four times the size of the original, and it looks quite nice in the game. It should also work in KOTOR.

As I was looking through the textures for KOTOR 2, I discovered that the muzzle flash texture is astoundingly low resolution. Naturally, I decided to make a better one.
If I remember correctly, mine is four times the size of the original, and it looks quite nice in the game. It should also work in KOTOR.

Instructions: Extract fx_muzflash to your override folder.

Permissions: Feel free to improve this. I love improvements!

Posts: 130 		Have you considered improving the texture of the blasts that the Selkath sonic weapons use? (They're the round, shock wave rings - similar to the effect used when Princess Leia got stunned at the beginning of Episode IV.)

I'd love to see an improvement of THAT texture for both K1 and K2.

Posts: 9 		If I find it, I'll give it a try. I don't recall seeing it in KOTOR 2 though, and I have to reinstall KOTOR 1. ( I recently upgraded my computer)

Posts: 9 		In KOTOR and KOTOR 2, there are three Mandalorian heavy armors that have no helmet. One is blue, of course. The other two I didn't really like, so I replaced them by recoloring the blue one to red and yellow (matching the ones Mandalorians wear). I thought about uploading them, but I didn't find the yellow one in my most recent playthrough. I'll upload them when I have screenshots.
