Millennium Hawk - Ebon Falcon - File Description  


Description:
When I first saw the Ebon Hawk back in 2003 when I bought the original Knights of the Old Republic game, I was instantly reminded Han Solo’s ship, the Millennium Falcon because both ships are fast, used for smuggling, and it has a bird name in the title of the ship. That ship was a good way to travel in style if you ask me. smile Of course since this is a modding site, people get their ideas and make them come to life and upload it here for all of us to see.

DarkLordXana makes his FileFront debut with a mod that changes the way the Ebon Hawk looks. He wanted it to look more like the Millennium Falcon from the original Star Wars Trilogy. In some areas I can see some similarities and others not quite so much, but again there are limitations to what you can do with this particular project and there is only so much you can do. I do think that we could have seen better detail if the resolution of the graphics were turned up, but hopefully you will get the idea.

These new skins will change the look of the inside and the outside of the Ebon Hawk. The only thing is that the Ebon Hawk will look like its default look during the BINK cut scene videos you see throughout the game. There’s nothing you can do about it, so please don’t ask. stick out tongue Enjoy the mod! big grin

ATTENTION:
Im currently working on a massive overhaul mod for KOTOR 2, and Im in need of skilled scripters. The mod wont be released until sometime next year, however assisting modders will not only be credited but will have access to the mod as soon as its finished. I will also be in need of beta testers but at a far later date. Anyone who is interested in scripting needs to be able to create the script using the following: the map or area name , the waypoint coordinates, the character file name, etc. I will need scripts to trigger spawn points, dialoge,party member replacement and so on. Ill also need voice actors, and maybe even modelers and texturers. but again not until a later date. No matter what position you think your qualified for contact me asap.

DESCRIPTION:
Put simply this mod reskins the ebon hawk inside and out. The outer skin looks very simmilar to the original. However its completely new. I used actual photographs of my millenium falcon models as well as stills from the movies to design a realistic texture. It becomes more detailed in the proluoge than the other planets. The inside is just using textures of my own design.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:Simply extract the zip file and move all files in the "texture files" folder into your override folder. This mod will work from any stage of the game.

COMMENTS: Basicaly I was tiried of all the basic reskins of things where all people do is recolor useing paint programs. Plus I felt it needed an overhaul.

BUGS: Shouldnt be any except this doesnt work with other ebon hawk reskins obviously.

PERMISSIONS: This mod may not be used without the explicit permission of the author. This mod may not be distributed on other sites without the express permission of the author.
