Description:

This is essentially a mass retexturing of nearly all of the skyboxes in KOTOR II TSL. The textures are designed to expound on the theme of each of the levels and hopefully make the game look that much better.

All images are altered versions of vanilla assets or hand-painted by myself

	Readme File: *****************-------------- More Vibrant Skies ----------------************** -Description__ One thing about that always irked me about KOTOR 2 was the unrealistic or otherwise dull coloration in the skies of nearly every planet. To combat this, I created this nifty pack of brighter, sharper, and hopefully more visually appealing skyboxes. I also included optional files to suit anyone's taste if they don't like the big or little planet I added to the Dxun sky or if they want a less colorful sun on Telos. *Additionally I included a texture and txi file that makes the girders you see outside of the window of Telos Station (or whatever they are called) less paper mache' looking All of the skyboxes in the game are included except for Nar Shadaa and Malachor V I must note though that Dxun is actually darker, but now has full storm clouds to complement all of that thunder and lightning :) -Installation:__ (Basic): Drop all of the files into your Override folder (Optional Files): Drop files into your Override folder and overwrite if applicable If you have no Override folder you must create one -Uninstallation:__ Remove these files from your override folder -Credits:__ Fred Tetra for his amazing KOTOR Tool Adobe for their Photoshop George Lucas for his crazy franchise that started it all and Obsidian for their crazy game that still is inspiring people to restore it to its prime -Permissions__ All of this stuff is hand-drawn and edited by myself. Please give me credit if you do use it in another mod.

I appreciate the feedback! I know it's subtle, but I hope they make enough of a difference in the overall atmosphere of the levels.

Can I adapt these for my mod in this thread( http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=209603 )?I know what you said in the read-me, but asking is still common courtesy.

So, can I modify these for my mod? Could be major or just minor changes here and there, so it's up to you.

Also, have you uploaded this at DeadlyStream yet? I can if you want.

I've actually been following your mod since I first saw it on (that site). big grin

I frankly have wanted day/night cycles in the game since I first saw them in the level builder app, but my lack of coding knowledge left that but a dream...

I would be more than happy to let you use my textures. I just didn't want anyone posting stealing them as these took me a lot longer than usual to finish.

I should just create an account and post to DeadlyStream since I've been a lurker of all things on there.

Actually I have had an account on LucasForums longer than I have on modding sites. I just got kind of sick of the debacle known as the "Great Debate of Karen Traviss and the Clone Wars Cartoon Retcons" so I haven't used that account in a while. I go by the handle, KriffingBrilliant, by the way.

I agree with blitz. It's excellent to see that there are still new mods coming in on the site. Most of the mods I have now are from 05' to 07'. When I see a mod posted within the past 5 years (especially within the past year) I always check it out. I haven't posted a mod here yet as I am a noob modder and just starting to get my feet wet, but I love mods that add realism to the game. I give this mod a 10/10!

P.S. I agree that there should be Night/Day cycles as well. So I will be checking your mod out as well Fair Strides.
