New Soundsets for TSL - File Description  


Description:
New soundsets are fun, right? Does anybody recall when RedRob41 release his recent add on to his species sound set mod? Well, this isn’t quite like that, but the same idea is implied here and it’s for the game Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

GiygasUnlimited is making his FileFront debut with a mod that adds three different soundsets for you to use. These three sets are basically recovering sounds that are already in your TSL game that aren’t being used. What you’re getting is the player character male and female sounds. The third one is Canderous Ordo’s.

This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view. The good thing is that you can have your player character AKA the Exile with a soundset. Notice that all your party members in TSL have them, but the Exile didn’t. Your player character in K1 did, so why not for TSL. The bad way of looking at this is having to sound like the player character from K1, but it’s better than not having one, right? That is if not having one bothers you.

Canderous Ordo’s sound is the other one we talked about. The thing is Canderous is back as the new Mandalore in TSL. However some of you have mods where you have Mandalore remove his helmet and that reveals Canderous’ face with a beard that he grew up between game time periods. Anyway, even though you can’t change the fact that Canderous has the sound of a microphone with his dialogue in TSL when using his helmetless appearance, you can however change his soundset so it doesn’t sound like he’s wearing a helmet with this mod.

You will have to use tk102’s KSE if you want to make use of these sounds once you have installed them. There is a screenshot available to view on how that works when using the program. The TSL Patcher will also be used to install this mod. Enjoy! big grin

Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Made as a request for Tysyacha. Just a note, these soundsets are the same ones used by the PC in K1, you'll have to use KSE to make your PC have these. Also, just because I'm such a nice guy, I included Canderous's soundset from K1. Cheers!

Posts: 11 		Since my Kotor character is male and my TSL character is female, the whole reusing KOTOR's soundsets doesn't make a difference to me.
