Pseudo Stormtrooper - File Description  


Description:
This mod here by Prime is one of his oldest mods before he went to getting the Stormtroopers and Clonetroopers into the Knights of the Old Republic games. It was intended to just make a new skin to replace the Sith Soldiers of the original Knights of the Old Republic game to have the colors of the Stormtroopers.

I really think having a skin like this available for download is a great idea for those who want to keep things simple and not worry about doing some of their own personal editing with .2da files because I know to some that is a lot of work and it confuses some people when doing it. I really love the work done with this skin. There are no stat changes to this mod, just an appearance change that should not cause any conflicts that some people like to avoid.

This skin can be used in Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords if so desired since both games use the same TGA file name. The Sith Soldiers just don’t make as many appearances as they do in the original KOTOR game. Enjoy it! big grin

Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. It really helps encourage the author to make more mods in the future.

Description:

This is a simple reskin to give the Sith Trooper white armour so that he looks a bit
more like a Imperial Stormtrooper. At least a little bit :)

N_SithSoldier01.tga - texture file for sith trooper 1
N_SithSoldier03.tga - texture file for sith trooper 3

Installation:
-------------

Simply extract these files into the Override directory in the KOTOR install directory.

There are no known issues.

If you encounter other issues, please report them to the email address specified above.
I will do what I can to correct them.

The idea for the pseudo stormtrooper came from the great skinner Colja. He did something
very similar and I thought it was such a cool idea I thought I'd take my own crack at it.

A big thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the truly fantastic kotor editing
tool. Also a appreciative shout out to the many friendly folks at the
Lucasforums Holowan Laboratories board who have helped me learn how to do
things like this. This included especially Kitty Kitty, T7nowhere, and
Jackel.

Finally, thanks to Bioware for making a truly kick ass game...
