Shaelas is a Merchant (1.0) - File Description  


Description:
This is a modification that transforms a normal, helpless Selkath into a weapons merchant. His inventory consists of varied types of blasters, swords, armors, energy shields, medpacks, and other things. Since you encounter him on Manaan, which is a planet people normally don't go to first, the weapons do a considerable amount a damage. However, there are no lightsabers or robes, so this normally will be supplying to Carth, Canderous, and other non-Jedi party members. Also, no unique/quest-related items are included in his little shop.

It may seem a bit strange, because if you say "I'm not here to discuss the Sith" when he asks your opinion, it will automatically go to the shop after his "very well". This means that the next time you speak to him, he will mention Shasa, his daughter, when you never even talked about her. stick out tongue

It doesn't matter much, but he has no inventory stands set up or anything. It won't affect him in any way, but you "inventory stand" lovers won't enjoy the issue. However, I don't think any merchant-transforming mods actually have an inventory stand beside the new merchant, so I'm not worried.

What it is
------------

Changes Shaelas, the Selkath on Manaan who asks for information on his daughter, is now an equipment merchant. It gives you three different dialogue options depending on what he says to you, and he has two in return. These are voiced with the standard Selkath gurgle.

Installation
------------

Put all the files EXCEPT the readme and screenshots directly into your game's Override folder. If you do not have an Override folder, create one.

Uninstallation
--------------

You don't like it? D:

Remove the following files from the Override:

merchantshaelas.ncs
shaelasmerchant.utm
man26_shaelas.dlg

Bugs
------------

There is one bug- if you ask to see his goods with your weapons drawn while you started the conversation, or had them drawn, he won't let you see his goods. This can easily be fixed by talking to him again.

Posts: 231 		Sounds interesting, i'd like it if the pictures you have showed the inventory, or if you said what you had.
