Yuthura Ban to Darth Talon Conversion - File Description  


Description:
Yuthura Ban was second in command to Uthar Wynn at the Korriban Sith Academy during the events of the original Knights of the Old Republic game. Yuthura was also a Twi’lek and a former Jedi who turned to the dark side of the Force and joined the Sith.

Prime makes a welcome return to the modding scene that gives Yuthura a brand new look to resemble Darth Talon, who was a member of Darth Krayt’s new Sith order. To make the look resemble Darth Talon, Prime did a re-skin of her and made her all red with black tattoos and a nice pair of Sith eyes. She’s also in a new revealing outfit that shows more of her body covered tattoos. This gives Yuthura a dark and sexy look that I will eventually be putting in my override folder soon.

This mod does involve some changes to the appearance.2da file and will require some editing to make it compatible. Prime was generous enough to tell you what line needs to be edited and what has been changed to help out. If you are not using the appearance.2da file in your personal override folder, then you have nothing to worry about. Enjoy this new fantastic mod! big grin

This mod coverts Yuthura Ban to Darth Talon from the Star Wars: Legacy comic
series.

Darth Talon is a member of Darth Krayt's new Sith Order around 137 ABY. She had black Sith tattoos covering her body, head, and lekku; which she had earned in ritual combat. She was trained by a fellow Twi'lek Sith named Darth Ruyn, whom she later killed on Krayt's command with a decapitating strike of her lightsaber.


Installation:
-------------

The mod can be installed using by the following steps:

Step 1.
Extract all the files into the Override folder in the KOTOR directory. This will
automatically convert Yuthura to Talon.

Optional Darth Talon disquise:
This adds a disquise item to the inventory that changes the appearance of any party member to Darth Talon. Ment more for viewing than functional purposes.

To enable cheats, in your game directory edit swkotor.ini and under [Game Options]
add EnableCheats=1. Start the game then when playing press ' to bring down the console
prompt. At the console prompt, type "giveitem darthtalon" to add the item to the inventory.

Mod Files:
n_twifban.mdx - model file
n_twifban.mdl - model file
N_UthuraH.tga - head texture
twiban01.tga - body texture
twiban01.txi - shader file
darthtalon.uti - disquise item


Uninstall
---------
Simply remove all the files from the Override directory.


Modding Information:
--------------------

The included appearance.2da file has the following modifications:

Line 280:
race - n_twifban
model columns (modela, modelb, etc.) - n_twifban
tex columns (texa, texb, etc.) - twiban

To merge this mod with others:
- Start kotor_tool (can be found at http://kotortool.starwarsknights.com/)
- open your current appearance.2da file with the 2DA editor. The button to open that editor is in the upper left corner of the kotor_tool.
- go to line 280, which is Unique_Yuthura_Ban.
- change the race column to n_twifban
- change all the model[a-i] columns to n_twifban
- change all the tex[a-i] columns to twiban
- save


Known Issues:
-------------

If you encounter issues, please report them to the email address specified
above. I will do what we can to correct them.

Due to the mapping of the texture to the model, some markings are not exactly as I would like. Some lines aren't aren't as straight as they should be, but are about as good as I could make them.
